Addubby is a complete system for managing menus, orders, and payments, specifically designed for the restaurant industry. It’s a portal where registered users can find information about the restaurant and dishes, including ingredients, allergens, and nutritional values.
For this project, I developed the brand’s visual identity, designed the logo, created the UX/UI for the app, and produced a promotional brochure to present it to both end-users and restaurant owners.
Project goals
The goal was to create a visual communication appealing to both the European and Japanese markets. The app interface needed to be attractive, clear, and easy to use for both customers and restaurant owners.
Logo
The Addubby logo incorporates three key elements:
- a fork, symbolizing Western cuisine;
- a noodle bowl, representing Eastern cuisine;
- a pointed finger, symbolizing the app’s touch-based interface.
These elements are represented with soft, rounded lines inspired by noodles and spaghetti, both in the logo and typography.
App
The UX/UI of the app was designed with two types of users in mind:
Customer: An intuitive and pleasant interface that allows users to easily find restaurants and choose between dining in or take-out. The app also enables meal ordering and payment, minimizing interaction with restaurant staff.
Restaurant owner: A simple system for managing restaurant information, menus, orders, and payments, without interfering with daily operations.
Brochure
The brochure was designed to present all essential information about the app in a compact format. Text, icons, and illustrations were used to explain its key features and how it can be used by both customers and restaurant owners.
